Signa
was founded in 1977 with the creation of a dedicated line of accessory
products designed to assist with item/check remittance processing,
filing and storage.
The
initial offering of Signas Processor Line started with a modest
array of trays, transports and media storage shelving. Today, the
Processor Line has become increasingly comprehensive with over 300
items.
Processor
Line products are employed in bank, utility, insurance, order fulfillment
and many other processing and mail centers worldwide. Our customer
base covers all fifty states, Canada, Mexico, Latin America, the
Caribbean, Asia, Australia and Europe.
In
1992, a 15,000 square foot expansion was completed adding a state
of the art powder coating operation. The impetus for developing
this operation was stimulated by Signas requirement for a
high production finishing system that would consistently meet the
high quality standards required for our products. The coating line
has enabled us to directly maintain and control the quality of our
products from start to finish.
Aside
from meeting the finishing requirements of our own product, the
expansion has allowed us to provide high quality and cost effective
finishing services for many other markets and customers.
The development of the powder coating line along with our extensive
knowledge of fabrication enables us to further develop our customer
base into an ever-widening range of end-user customers. It is the
synergy that these segments generate that allows us to effectively
and efficiently design, manufacture and finish products on a custom
basis. Signas expanding diversity brightly shines in our custom
fabrication and coating services.
